Privacy policy

DeskFinder is built to collect as little as possible. You can use the entire quiz without giving us anything.
What we collect
- Quiz answers. Processed in your browser to produce your results. They are not transmitted to us or stored on a server.
- Email address — only if you choose to subscribe. Used to send the newsletter you asked for, and nothing else.
- Basic analytics — aggregated page views and referral data, used to see which pages are useful.
What we never do
- Sell or rent your personal data
- Require an account to see quiz results
- Share quiz answers with the tools we recommend
- Use third-party advertising trackers that build a profile of you across other sites
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: one to remember whether you dismissed the affiliate notice, and analytics cookies to count visits. You can block cookies in your browser without losing any functionality — the quiz works entirely client-side.
Third-party links
When you follow a link to a vendor, their privacy policy applies, not ours. We do not control how they handle your data once you leave this site.
Your rights
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email, and you can ask us to delete your email address entirely. Because quiz answers never reach our servers, there is nothing else of yours for us to delete.
